A metrology laboratory for outsourced services
16 December 2016In mobile metrology since 2012, AB Serve is proud to inaugurate its metrology laboratory dedicated to the analysis and the bi and three-dimensional measure of high precision.
Specially designed to offer optimal working conditions to its metrologists, this quite new space of 50m ², within whom the temperature and the hygrometry are under permanent control, is among others equipped with a FARO arm – of whom the spherical measure diameter ranges up to 2.70 m – and two marbles of 1.44 m ² and 4 m ².
2D measuring devices calibration, 3D modelling, reverse engineering, and comparison of an element or an assembly to its CAD… the range of applications within the domain is vast.
Besides, it is advisable to underline the mobile character of this service as AB Serve is perfectly capable of taking its measuring devices to its customer’s plant, in particular to perform measurements by palpage or scan.
